Born in Canberra and based in Sydney, Australia, Cecilia has always had a curiosity for people and the lives they lead.

Influenced by her career in social work where she works closely with people who are blind or who have low vision, Cecilia’s street photography captures life’s small, everyday moments, while her landscape photography reflects quintessential Australian summers and offers glimpses into far off places, embodying the feeling you get from being somewhere special.

Through her photography, Cecilia hopes to share her interest in the people and places that take centre stage in her work.

Cecilia is also a film maker, and has had her work screened on the ABC and at various Australian film festivals (St Kilda Film Festival, Flickerfest Film Festival, Focus on Ability Film Festival and Tropfest Film Festival). In 2018, Cecilia won Tropfest’s People’s Choice Award for her short film documentary.
